Mình post thread này để mọi người sử dụng giải pháp PS2 fullsize/slim + HDD USB tiện phân tích thiệt vs hại của phương pháp và cùng nhau khắc phục: 1 - Chương trình load dùng HDD USB hoàn tòan tưong thích với máy không lắp modchip và đối với máy gắn modchip Infinity và một số modchip khác, cần phải tắt modchip (phải hỏi nơi bạn gắn tên loại modchip thì mới biết cách disable, trường hợp không disable được thì tháo ra luôn...he he, giỡn thôi nha, tùy các bạn định đọat số phận em PS2 của mình. Đối với modchip Infinity, các bạn tắt chức năng Macrovision bằng cách nhấn giữ ^ + O để vào menu disable Macrovision. Đã tìm được cách deatiVate Modchip máY dàY của tui (hiệu gì không biết..), ai có MáY dàY nhấn thử rồi post lên để mọi người biết. Nhấn reset 2 lần liên tục. Nếu làm ok thì khi bỏ đĩa chép Vào máY báo đĩa chép, màng hình đỏ lè..là OK.. mang qua tui gắn HDD USB gắn ngoài chạY ầm ầm.. Lưu ý: MáY gắn Modchip InfinitY / Crystal (Thường mấY máY mỏng bâY giờ haY gắn) đã thử nhiều cách, deactiVe modechip luôn nhưng Vẫn không chạY được chương trình boot lẫn chương trình chạY ổ cứng gắn ngoài..bó taY. Giải pháp: ra ngoài làm một sWitch cho Modchip, khi cần có modchip thì bật, không cần thì mở. Đối Với các loại modchip khác mà không deactiVate được thì cũng làm cách nàY.
Update!!!!!HDD USB chơi game PS2 có thể dùng để lưu dữ liệu khác như nhạc, phim, nói chung là tất cả mọi thứ. Như vậy các bạn có thể tận dụng HDD USB để chơi PS2 và lưu dữ liệu khác cùng lúc, rất tiện lợi!!!!!!!!!

bạn ơi nói rõ cách thực hiện từ a-z được ko, minh bây h mới biết PS2 có tính năng này nhưng đọc vẫn chưa hiểu cách thực hiện: phần mềm down ở đâu, cài đặt ntn, cách cài đặt game vào ổ cứng... Thanks! :)
Do đã già và không còn time để xử lý vụ này nhưng thỉnh thoảng anh em vẫn gọi hỏi và không có thời gian để hỗ trợ. Mod close topic này giùm mình.
Lâu lâu đào mộ lên nào. PS2 đã về hưu nhưng do anh em vẫn còn đang dùng nhiều nên là vẫn còn người quan tâm thôi. Liên quan đến vấn đề hỏi han này nọ thì bà con trước khi lên đây hỏi nên tra google trước đã. Giờ đây đã có FMCB 1.92 và FHDB 1.92 rồi. FHDB (Free Hard Disc Boot) là boot trực tiếp trên ổ cứng gắn trong PS2 luôn, cài đặt tất cả trên ổ cứng. Cài game thì dùng Winhiip. FHDB dùng cho dòng máy dày 1x, 3x, 5x gắn ổ cứng. FMCB dùng để boot từ thẻ nhớ, dùng cho máy dày và mỏng (7x và một phần 9x). Khi topic này khép lại bà con cứ google thần chưởng mà dùng là OK hết nhé.
