Hanoi to host int’l software, games festival A local computer association is to launch an international software and games festival in May to promote educational games and help Vietnam integrate into the global games industry. Organizing the festival – on from May 26 to May 29 – is at the core of an agreement signed between the Vietnam Software Association (Vinasa) and the International Data Group in Vietnam. The event, called ISGAF 2006, is to draw participation from 20 countries and territories to take part in exhibitions, seminars on the software industry, and digital entertainment games. Vinasa will hand out the VietGames awards with an aim to encourage educational game development in Vietnam’s young computer industry.
